MDC Partners Reports Inducement Grant Under NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(c)(4)

NEW YORK, Nov. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- (NASDAQ: MDCA) -- MDC Partners Inc. (the "Company") announced that the Company granted an inducement award to Linus Karlsson in connection with his employment as Global Chief Creative Officer of Crispin Porter & Bogusky LLC ("CPB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.  On September 26, 2017, CPB announced the hiring of Mr. Karlsson, with this employment scheduled to begin on or about October 1, 2017.  Effective November 10, 2017, the Company granted Mr. Karlsson an award of 50,000 restricted shares of MDC Partners' Class A subordinate voting stock, subject to vesting on the 3rd anniversary of Mr. Karlsson's employment commencement date or earlier upon the occurrence of certain events. The Company granted this award as a material inducement to Mr. Karlsson's employment with CPB in accordance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5635(c)(4).
