Item 8.01. Other Events.

On October 3, 2016, Marrone Bio Innovations, Inc. (the “Company”) was notified by The NASDAQ Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) that the Company has regained compliance with the applicable requirements for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market and that the Hearings Panel has accordingly determined to continue listing the Company’s common stock on The Nasdaq Capital Market.
