Item 2.02      Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On November 15, 2018 , Matthews International Corporation ("Matthews") issued a press release announcing its earnings for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended September 30, 2018. A copy of the press release is furnished hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

On November 15, 2018 , Matthews posted to the Company's website (www.matw.com/investor) its earnings teleconference presentation which includes selected financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended September 30, 2018. The presentation is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.2.
