INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Indianapolis Colts, Peyton Manning and Marsh Supermarkets (NASDAQ:MARSANASDAQ:MARSB) have again partnered for the 5th annual Handoff for Hunger campaign. Designed to stock the shelves of local food pantries and help ensure no one goes hungry in the Indianapolis area and surrounding communities, this food drive will take place before Monday Night Football November 28th (Colts vs. Steelers game) at the RCA Dome. "Handoff for hunger gives Colts fans the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those in need. By dropping off non-perishable food items or a donation we can help people who need our support during the holidays. This is a great program that really gives back to the community," said Tom Zupancic, Senior Vice President of Business Development for the Colts. "Marsh is delighted to partner for the fifth consecutive year with the Indianapolis Colts and quarterback Peyton Manning to host a community food drive. Our hope is to build upon last year's successful event by collecting even more non-perishable goods and food items to assist the statewide food pantries make a positive difference in our communities," said Don E. Marsh, Chairman and CEO of Marsh Supermarkets. Thus far, the annual Handoff for Hunger food drive event has collected over 506,000 pounds of food to help stock local food pantries. Non-perishable food items and cash will be collected at all RCA Dome gates from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. before the Colts Monday Night Football game.
