KALAMAZOO, Mich., May 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Manatron, Inc. (NASDAQ:MANA) the national leader of property tax solutions for state and local governments announced that it has received a contract totaling $1.1 million from the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas for its GRM Property Tax solution. The contract includes related professional services for the Unified Government Treasury Department and five years of annual software maintenance. This marks the first contract win in the State of Kansas for Manatron. Wyandotte County is located in the north eastern section of Kansas and includes Kansas City, Kansas. It is one of 105 counties in the state and has a population estimated at 160,000. The County Treasurer's office will be using Manatron Tax to collect real estate, personal property, intangible, motor vehicle, special assessments and other miscellaneous taxes for the county, as well as all of the cities, townships, school districts and other taxing jurisdictions within the county. Manatron Tax will also be used by the Treasurer's office to apportion and distribute all of these taxes to the local taxing units.
