Loudeye Providing End-to-End Digital Music Solution for Connecting Music
Supervisors With UMPG's Rich Song Catalog
SEATTLE, April 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Loudeye Corp. , the worldwide

chosen by Universal Music Publishing Group ("UMPG"), one of the world's leading
music publishing companies, to provide a complete end-to-end digital music
solution for UMPG's SYNCHExpress.com.
Under the agreement, Loudeye is making UMPG's music catalog available to
licensed clients through SYNCHExpress.com. Loudeye has also built a customized
and automated content management system that allows UMPG to easily upload and
organize music content. Additionally, Loudeye is maintaining new releases on a
weekly basis and providing hosting and streaming for the digital audio content.
SYNCHExpress.com offers music supervisors for film, TV, advertising and media
fast search access to an online database of hit recordings that span from the
1920s to present. Utilizing SYNCHExpress.com, music supervisors can now browse
songs by title, writer, genre, decade, subject and date range as well as access
audio, copyright information and song ideas. With authorized password access,
UMPG's VIP clients can have access to full length streaming audio and request
downloads to be sent via e-mail from UMPG staff. Synch licenses can be
requested via an online form, saving client's valuable time. VIP SYNCHExpress
benefits also include a feature that allows clients to store and organize their
UMPG song selections, receive e-mail song pitches from UMPG creative staff,
free monthly CD samplers, exclusive SYNCHExpress needle drop promotions for
pre-cleared songs and one-on-one interaction with UMPG creative staff.
