Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On January 12, 2021, Luminex Corporation (“the Company”) issued a press release announcing preliminary revenue for the fourth quarter and full year 2020.  A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.

Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On January 13, 2021, the Company is giving a presentation (“Investor Presentation”) to investors discussing, among other topics, an overview of the Company’s business and growth strategy. The presentation will be at the 39th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, to be held virtually, and will begin at 3:30 p.m. Central Time (4:30 p.m. Eastern Time).  A copy of the Investor Presentation, which is available at www.luminexcorp.com, is being furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
