Streamline Health Signs Contract with Oregon Health & Science
University To Improve Operational Efficiencies via Business Process
Re-Engineering
CINCINNATI, May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LanVision Systems, Inc.
(NASDAQ:LANV) dba Streamline Health(TM) today announced that it has signed a
new contract with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) for its Health
Information Management and Patient Financial Services workflows and document
management solutions. The contract calls for an unlimited use license for the
large-scale deployment of Streamline Health's solutions throughout the OHSU
enterprise.
The contract includes the following Streamline Health solutions:
* accessANYware(TM) provides enterprise access to a
patient's medical and financial
records to better coordinate
patient care
* Completion Workflow expedites the completion of the
medical record and accelerates the
completion of billing services
* Release of Information Workflow(TM) facilitates efficient compliance
with requests for patient
information from third party
requestors
* codingANYware(TM) improves coding turnaround time by
prioritizing and pushing work tasks
to staff coders on campus or in
remote locations, including home-
based employees
* Document Conversion Services migrates OHSU's existing repository
of document images from their
existing vendor to the Streamline
Health solutions
* Custom Workflow Toolkit allows OHSU to internally develop
and optimize their own unique
workflow solutions
The contract also includes integration of Streamline Health's solutions to
OHSU's existing information systems, including the Epic Care clinical
information system from Epic Systems.
Located in Portland Oregon, the OHSU Health System includes OHSU Hospital,
Doernbecher Children's Hospital, and dozens of primary care and specialty
clinics serving every county in Oregon. The health system also includes four
schools, multiple research institutes and several outreach and community
service units. In addition, OHSU has a research and education West Campus in
Hillsboro, and multiple education and patient care facilities throughout the
state. OHSU meets the health care services needs of more than 175,500 medical
and dental patients annually, who make up approximately 737,670 patient visits
each year. OHSU is the state's fifth largest employer and Portland's largest.
