2007 Model Year Teton 5th Wheel Campers to Offer Stationary
Automatic TracVision R4 for All-digital Satellite TV Programming
The luxury fifth wheel recreational vehicles built by leading
travel trailer manufacturer Teton Homes serve as a home away from home
for thousands of travelers around the country. These luxurious
vehicles have something else in common with a well-equipped home -
live, digital satellite TV. Teton Homes will be including the
stationary automatic TracVision(R) R4 satellite TV antenna from KVH
Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: KVHI) as an option on Teton's 2007 model
year travel trailers, making this the third consecutive year that
Teton has offered one of KVH's award-winning satellite TV systems.
"KVH's TracVision is easy to install and virtually trouble-free,"
explained Marion Johnson, Teton's director of engineering. "The
systems are competitively priced and have been very dependable for our
customers."
Commenting on Teton's selection of the TracVision R4, Ian Palmer,
KVH's executive vice president of satellite sales, said, "When we set
out to develop the TracVision R-series, we wanted to be certain that
we were offering RV owners and manufacturers the most advanced
technology available at the most competitive prices. It is very
gratifying that Teton recognizes the benefits our TracVision systems
offer their customers by way of unmatched reliability, support for
digital satellite TV, HDTV compatibility, and the most extensive
customer support program available in North America."
The TracVision R4 satellite TV system allows RV owners to enjoy
satellite TV and music entertainment virtually anywhere they travel in
the United States and Canada. All they need to do is pull into the
campground or parking space, settle in for the night, and turn on the
TracVision R4. The fully automatic antenna, protected under its
stylish dome, seeks out the correct satellite automatically thanks to
its integrated Digital Video Broadcast (DVB(R)) technology. Passengers
can enjoy watching their favorite programming or listening to a
variety of satellite radio music channels available on DIRECTV(R),
DISH Network(TM) or ExpressVu. The TracVision R4 is also fully
compatible with the HDTV programming offered by DISH Network as well
as on DIRECTV's standard 101 degrees W and 119 degrees W satellites.
