KVH Industries, Inc., (Nasdaq:KVHI) announced today that ASA Electronics
Corp., an international manufacturer and supplier of mobile electronics,
is now serving as a national distributor for KVH mobile communication
products. ASA Electronics is focused on bringing KVH’s
award-winning TracVision®
mobile satellite TV systems and its new TracNet™
100 mobile Internet receiver with MSN®
TV service to dealers and vehicle manufacturers in the commercial
vehicle, bus, limousine, and conversion van markets.

TV system – The award-winning TracVision
A7 uses KVH’s patented hybrid phased-array
antenna technology to offer a 5-inch high, satellite TV system with
exclusive in-motion reception of up to 185 channels of DIRECTV®
service including national networks like ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC via
local TV affiliates – a first in the mobile
entertainment and automotive industries.
• The TracNet 100 mobile Internet system
with MSN TV service – TracNet 100
provides in-motion, high-speed access to MSN TV Internet services,
including MSN Mail, MSN Messenger, web browsing, Internet radio, and
online games, all conveniently displayed on the video screens and TVs in
vehicles. For those users who depend on applications on laptops or PDAs,
the TracNet 100 also turns a vehicle or vessel into a mobile hotspot
thanks to integrated WiFi that supports multiple users and devices.
