With new Salutations and Households features, nonprofit
organizations will be able to aggregate information by household,
leading to more customized communication with donors. Households and
Salutations are two new features included in the upcoming Kintera(R)
Contact Relationship Management (CRM) release.
Available the evening of Nov. 18, 2005, Households enables users
to group contact records into a household through the use of
relationships. Organizations using Kintera CRM will be able to add and
view individuals that belong to a household. Understanding the giving
trends and history of a household enables organizations to better
target and market to individuals within the household.
"Kintera continues to provide Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
with features to help us better know -- and therefore, better target
-- our contact database," said Robin Palley, vice president, new
business development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
(www.bigbrothersbigsisters.org). "We're excited to start leveraging
the new features to enhance our ability to attract and develop
donors."
In addition, the release will include the launch of advanced
salutations functionality. The new addition allows organizations to
create and apply targeted salutations, enabling nonprofits to
appropriately greet and address supporters in various situations --
from sending informal letters to formal direct mail appeals.
"Kintera continues to raise the bar by providing nonprofits with
the features critical to fundraising -- organizing information to
develop targeted, personalized donor communication," said David
Lawson, Kintera Prospect Relationship Management (PRM). "Both of these
features are a necessary part of prospect management."
