Sasamat Capital Corporation Obtains Interim Court Order for Proposed Arrangement

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 26  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sasamat Capital Corporation ("Sasamat") (Pink Sheets: SSALF) is pleased to announce that Sasamat and KHD Humboldt Wedag International Ltd. ("KHD") (NASDAQ:KHDH) applied to the Supreme Court of British Columbia on April 20, 2007 and obtained an interim order providing, among other things, for the calling and holding of the annual and special meeting of the shareholders of Sasamat (the "Meeting").  At the Meeting, the shareholders of Sasamat will be asked to approve an arrangement agreement between Sasamat and KHD providing for the acquisition by KHD of all of the outstanding common shares of Sasamat (the "Arrangement"), such that Sasamat will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of KHD.  Sasamat expects to hold the Meeting on May 22, 2007.  Upon obtaining approval of the Arrangement by the shareholders of Sasamat at the Meeting, Sasamat and KHD will make an application to the Supreme Court of British Columbia for a final order approving the Arrangement on May 23, 2007 or such other date as may be required by the Court.
