Kraft Foods Inc. (KFT) reduced its prices on several U.S. coffee products, effective immediately, Reuters reported Friday.
A Kraft spokeswoman attributed the move to "sustained decreases in the cost of green coffee," Reuters reported.
Kraft cut prices on Maxwell House and Yuban roast and ground coffee brands by about 6%, and Gevalia roast and ground sold in retail outlets by about 10%, a spokeswoman told Reuters.
There was a 4% price reduction for non-flavored instant coffees, other than products sold under the Maxwell House International brand, the spokeswoman said.
