ITEM 8.01  OTHER EVENTS

On March 16, 2009,  JoS. A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) in which the Company announced, among other things,  a “Risk Free” Suit Promotion that the Company is offering on suit purchases that are made from March 16, 2009 through April 9, 2009.    A copy of the Press Release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
