On January 18, 2015, Mr. Robert A. Pirraglia resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (the “Company”). The Company accepted Mr. Pirraglia’s resignation, which is effective as of January 18, 2015. Mr. Pirraglia did not resign because of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.

 

On January 19, 2015, the Company issued a press release reporting the resignation of Mr. Pirraglia from the Company’s Board of Directors. A copy of this press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.

VANCOUVER, Jan. 19, 2015 /CNW/ - Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (TSX: IE; NASDAQ: IVAN) (TSX: IE.DB) announced the resignation of Robert Pirraglia from the company's Board of Directors, effective January 18, 2015. Mr. Pirraglia has served as a director of the company since April 2005.
