Secondary placing of shares by Cazenove

Thompson Clive Investment plc ("TCI") has today placed through Cazenove a total
of 1,127,500 ordinary shares in Isotron, representing approximately 5.3% of the
Company, at a price of 440p.

Following the placing, TCI will retain an interest of 1,100,000 ordinary shares,
representing 5.2% of the Company.
