Intrusion Inc. Director Acquires 500,000 Shares of Stock 


RICHARDSON, Texas, Feb. 9  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Intrusion Inc. ,
("Intrusion") today announced that James F. Gero, a director of Intrusion,
acquired 500,000 shares of Intrusion common stock in a private transaction at a
price of $0.57 per share, based on information provided by Mr. Gero in his Form
4 filed with the SEC on February 5, 2004.   As a result of the purchase, Mr.
Gero holds a total of 758,450 shares of Intrusion common stock, representing
approximately 3.67% of the outstanding shares of common stock of Intrusion as of
February 9, 2004.  In addition, Science Applications International Corp.
("SAIC") filed a Form 4 with the SEC on February 6, 2004, reporting that it had
disposed of 1,849,352 shares of Intrusion's common stock.  This amount consisted
of the remaining Intrusion stock holdings of SAIC, previously the largest
[non-executive] holder of Intrusion's common stock.
