ICO Global Communications Announces Key Additions to Executive Leadership Team

ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited (NASDAQ: ICOG) (“ICO” or the “Company”) announced today that it has added several key members to its senior management team. The Company previously announced its intention to change its name to Pendrell Corporation. The name change is expected to become effective later this month.

Robert G. Mechaley, Jr. has been appointed chief scientist. With more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he was a co-founder of Clearwire Corporation where he also served as chief technology officer, and prior to that he was chief scientist at AT&T Wireless.

Timothy M. Dozois has been appointed corporate counsel and corporate secretary. He has held these positions in an acting capacity since 2010. Mr. Dozois has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of securities law, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property.

Mark Fanning has been appointed chief people officer. He has held leading human resources executive positions with Clearwire Corporation, Nextel Partners, AT&T Wireless and McCaw Cellular.

Additionally, the Company announced that Ben Wolff, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, and R. Gerard Salemme, the Company’s Chief Strategy Officer, resigned from their positions with Eagle River, the Company’s largest shareholder, in order to focus their full attention on the business of the Company.
