Independence Community Bank Corp. Announces Results of Its Annual Meeting of Stockholders BROOKLYN, N.Y., May 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Independence Community Bank Corp. (the "Company") (NASDAQ:ICBC) announced that Messrs. Willard N. Archie, Robert B. Catell, Harry P. Doherty and John R. Morris were re-elected as directors, each for a three year term, at the Company's annual meeting of stockholders held yesterday. Stockholders also approved the 2005 Stock Incentive Plan and ratified the selection of Ernst & Young LLP as the Company's independent auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2005. Independence Community Bank Corp. is the holding company for Independence Community Bank. The Bank, originally chartered in 1850, currently operates 123 branches located in the greater New York City metropolitan area, which includes the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau and Suffolk Counties and New Jersey.
