Hyperion (Nasdaq Global Select:HYSL), the global leader in Business
Performance Management (BPM) software, today announced that Gartner,
Inc. has placed Hyperion in the leaders quadrant in its “Magic
Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms, 1Q07”1
The recently released report evaluates 15 vendors. Gartner weighed
Hyperion’s completeness of vision and its
ability to execute in determining its position in the Magic Quadrant,
which uses multiple criteria to characterize companies in the leaders,
challengers, visionaries and niche players quadrants.
“We think Hyperion’s
inclusion in the leaders quadrant for Business Intelligence platform
vendors is an achievement that reflects the growing reach of Hyperion
System 9 BI+ worldwide,” said Godfrey
Sullivan, president and CEO of Hyperion. “We
recently delivered the second major release of Hyperion System 9 BI+,
the first BI platform to integrate operations with finance. This
platform brings to enterprises a broad range of BI innovations,
including a master data management solution, significant enhancements to
our Hyperion System 9 BI+ Essbase Analytics software, integration with
Google OneBox, and a Hyperion System 9 Smart Space offering that will
utilize gadgets to expand the use of BI. With these strategic BI
advantages, Hyperion is providing the management system for today’s
enterprise.”
