Hyperion (Nasdaq Global Select:HYSL), the global leader in Business
Performance Management (BPM) software, today announced that four of its
customers have been named to the InfoWorld 100, which honors IT projects
that demonstrate the most creative use of cutting-edge technologies to
further business goals. For the full list of honorees, visit http://www.infoworld.com/archives/t.jsp?N=s&V=83513.
Hyperion customers on the InfoWorld 100 list for 2006 include:
Nationwide Insurance, which leverages the reporting options
available in the Hyperion reporting suite to generate reports for a
single, enterprise-wide ledger. Nationwide’s
unified ledger resulted from a transformation of 240 ledger-related
systems.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which deployed Hyperion
Performance Suite to create “flexible
dashboards and dynamic reports that allow users to swiftly get to
information they need,” says InfoWorld.
Hundreds of customizable reports and dashboards make financial,
student, and budget information readily available to users. “The
metadata layer and interoperability between Hyperion and Informatica
helped deliver success,” the InfoWorld
article reports, while “single sign-on to a
report portal allows users to retrieve dashboards and reports and run
queries.”
BNSF Railway Co. and PHH Arval are also among the companies
honored.
"It’s been said that fortune favors the
bold. The inspiration for this year’s
finalists to tackle such sweeping changes varies widely —
from reducing delivery time of products and services to replacing
cumbersome legacy systems," said Richard Gincel, InfoWorld Senior
Editor. “But regardless of the motivation,
high ambition unites them all.”
