SAN FRANCISCO, CA and SHENZHEN, CHINA--(Marketwired - Nov 25, 2013) - Highpower International, Inc. (NASDAQ: HPJ), a developer, manufacturer and marketer of nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) and lithium rechargeable batteries and battery solutions, today announced that its patent portfolio is now in excess of 100 patents in China. Highpower has now obtained 112 patents and the patent portfolio consists of 25 invention patents, 35 utility patents, 51 appearance design patents and one Hong Kong standard patent.
