HARLEYSVILLE, Pa., Sept. 29  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harleysville National
Corporation (HNC) (NASDAQ:HNBC) announced today that John W. Eisele has been
appointed president of Millennium Wealth Management and Private Banking
(MWMPB).  MWMPB is a division of Harleysville National Bank, HNC's largest
subsidiary.

In his new position, Eisele is also executive vice president of Harleysville
National Corporation.

Eisele has more than 20 years experience in investments and wealth management. 
Most recently, he was executive vice president of the Quick and Reilly division
of Bank of America/Fleet Boston, Inc.

CIO of Cumberland Advisors, a subsidiary of Harleysville National Bank, and an

Eisele holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California in Los
Angeles and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the
University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
