BOSTON, Nov. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Learning company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt today announced that the Texas State Board of Education has approved new K-8 English Language Arts & Reading and Spanish Language Arts & Reading programs, HMH Into Reading Texas, HMH ¡Arriba la Lectura! Texas and HMH Into Literature Texas ©2020, giving schools the opportunity to purchase and implement the curriculum in K-8 classrooms statewide. These programs, part of HMH's Into Learning series, provide a comprehensive suite of flexible literacy solutions designed to support teachers as they grow learners into strong readers, confident communicators and critical thinkers.
Fully aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), HMH's literacy programs offer authentic, culturally relevant literature that resonates with children and inclusive dual-language instruction options, creating an equitable set of solutions designed to help all students thrive.
