Hill International (Nasdaq:HINT), the global leader in managing
construction risk, announced today that Michael B. Smith has been
promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of Hill’s
offices in Irvine, California and Phoenix, Arizona. He was previously a
Vice President with the company’s Project
Management Group.
Smith has more than 27 years of experience in project management for
transportation and building projects, including a strong background in
project controls, project planning, cost control, estimating,
scheduling, forecasting, and claims management on both public- and
private-sector projects. Smith joined Hill through KJM & Associates,
Inc., which Hill acquired in May 2007. Prior to joining KJM, Smith was
Operations Manager for PMC/Solutions, Inc. Before that, he was a Project
Controls Manager for Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. Smith earned his
Certificate in Management Practice for Engineering and Technical
Professionals from the University of California at Irvine.
