Hill International (Nasdaq:HINT), the worldwide construction consulting
firm, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from Escape
LLC to provide project management services during the construction of
The Escape, an upscale equestrian and family activities residential
community in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The nearly three-year contract
has an estimated value to Hill of approximately AED13.4 million ($3.7
million).
This is Hill’s first project in the Northern
Emirates. The Escape, which will cover an area of 8.3 million square
feet, will be comprised of villas, townhouses and apartments, a boutique
hotel and spa, a clubhouse, an activities and community centre, an
equestrian centre, a show complex, and an equine spa and therapy centre.
Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2008 and be concluded by
December 2010. The anticipated cost of the development is approximately
AED1.8 billion ($490 million).
