Hill International (Nasdaq:HINT), the global leader in managing
construction risk, announced today that it has been awarded a contract
by Central Plaza LLC to provide project management services during
design and construction of the $90 million Sakanela mixed-use
development in Tbilisi, Georgia. The 33-month contract has an estimated
value to Hill of approximately $4.4 million.
Sakanela is a Class A mixed-use development comprising 311 residential
apartments and 120,000 square meters (1,120,000 square feet) of
commercial space. The project is located in the center of
Tbilisi, between Rose Revolution Square and the Mtkvari River.
Construction is expected to begin in August 2008 and be completed by
August 2010.
