Haggar Launches National Advertising Campaign To Introduce
ForeverNew Clothing Line
Campaign Showcases Clothing That Withstands The Test of Time With No Fading, No
Shrinking, No Wrinkles, And No Stains
DALLAS, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Haggar Clothing Co., a leading
marketer of men's clothing, announced the kick-off of the "Stop Time" national
advertising campaign to support the launch of a proprietary line of clothing
called Haggar(R) ForeverNew(TM). Starting with September issues in high-
profile magazines and continuing through the key holiday season with national
television and radio, the advertising will showcase the proprietary collection
of men's casual and dress pants and knit and woven shirts, which offer
superlative fabric technology features, including virtually no fading, no
shrinking, no wrinkles and no stains, even after multiple washes.
The 'Stop Time' campaign features men dressed in Haggar ForeverNew shirts and
pants calmly making their way through their day while the rest of the world
frantically swirls by. The television and radio commercials are underscored
with the rerecorded recognizable song 'Time Has Come Today,' which was made
popular by The Chambers Brothers in the 1960s. Seattle-based advertising agency
Foundation Design created the 'Stop Time' concept.
"The ForeverNew line of clothing is a breakthrough in the apparel industry, and
we want to show consumers the benefit and value of clothes that look as good as
new, wash after wash after wash," said Alan Burks, chief marketing officer of
Haggar Clothing Co. "We have strategically targeted this advertising campaign
to reach consumers not only to introduce ForeverNew, but also to broaden their
awareness of Haggar as an innovative clothing company."
The multimillion-dollar advertising campaign targets adults 35 to 54 years of
age and will exceed over 400 million consumer impressions. Print ads will
appear in September issues of national magazines such as Vanity Fair, GQ,
People, Sports Illustrated, CARGO and Giant. National television ads will be
featured on ABC, CBS, ESPN and Fox, during NFL shows such as NFL Countdown, NFL
Primetime, NFL Sunday and NFL Today and during college football programming.
Radio ads will air on notable personality and event shows such as The O'Reilly
Factor, Charles Osgood, NFL football, college football, NIT basketball and
NASCAR.
