Haggar Introduces Clothing Breakthrough With ForeverNew(TM)
Collection
Clothes Look Newer Longer With No Fading, No Shrinking, No Wrinkles, No Stains
DALLAS, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Haggar Clothing Co., a leading marketer in
men's clothing, introduces a proprietary clothing line called ForeverNew(TM), a
collection of men's casual and dress pants, as well as knit and woven shirts,
that won't fade, shrink, wrinkle or stain. The ForeverNew line of clothing from
Haggar answers repeated demand for clothing that doesn't fade and look old and
worn after wearing only a few times. Pants and shirts are now available in
department stores for fall 2004.

"Colors that traditionally fade after multiple washings are now fresh and
vibrant and look as good as new in our unique ForeverNew line of clothing,"
stated Gary Aronson, senior vice president of merchandising for Haggar Clothing
Co. "After many years of development and stringent testing, Haggar is the first
to offer this proprietary fabric technology in the ForeverNew line of clothing.
Consumers no longer have to be frustrated with their favorite black or blue
casual pant fading to gray, or red shirt fading to pink."
Alan Burks, executive vice president and chief marketing officer adds, "The
ForeverNew line is being well-received by consumers as they recognize the value
associated with a line of clothes that can be worn and washed over and over and
still look great. This innovation in clothing is truly a breakthrough for the
apparel industry and is achieved by what we call 'rocket science' fabric
technology. As a brand that has driven product innovation since 1926, Haggar
continues to design great clothing with common sense benefits that keeps
consumers looking their best, wash after wash."
The Haggar(R) ForeverNew clothing line includes dress and casual pants and
woven and knit shirts for fall 2004, with shorts, sweaters, socks and other
clothing ideas in development. Women's wear is expected to launch spring 2005.
The unique fabric technology is used on 100 percent cotton and blended fabrics
that lock in deep and vibrant colors, minimizing fading and shrinking, which
maintain wrinkle-free and stain-resistant properties. The ForeverNew line of
clothing can be machine-washed and dried many times and still look like new.
The benefit of this unique fabric technology is most apparent in vibrant colors
such as red, blue, green, black and khaki, which typically fade or bleed after
machine washing.
