Haggar Celebrates Political Differences and Puts ForeverNew Line
of Clothing to a Mudslinging Test
Clothes Look Good As New - With No Fading, No Shrinking, No Wrinkles and No
Stains
DALLAS, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Haggar Clothing Co., a leading marketer
of men's clothing, put its ForeverNew(TM) line of clothing to a mudslinging
test outside the FOX television studio in New York this morning during the Fox
& Friends national cable show. Representatives for both the Democratic and
Republican parties participated in a fun and messy mudslinging competition
wearing ForeverNew shirts and pants.

"In the spirit of friendly competition between the political parties, we wanted
to have fun and put the ForeverNew line of clothing to a real test with an old
fashion mud fight," stated Shelly Vandeven, vice president brand marketing of
Haggar Clothing Co. "Watching the mud fly and seeing the participants covered
in mud from head to toe was a lot fun. It's nice to know that even after a mud
fight and one laundering, the ForeverNew line of clothes will look as good as
new with no fading, no shrinking, no wrinkles and no stains. We encourage
everyone to vote this fall with confidence while looking his or her best. "
The Haggar(R) ForeverNew clothing line includes men's dress and casual pants
and woven and knit shirts for fall 2004, with shorts, sweaters, socks and other
clothing ideas in development. Women's wear is scheduled to launch spring 2005.
The unique fabric technology is used on 100 percent cotton and blended fabrics
that lock in deep and vibrant colors, minimizing fading and shrinking, which
maintain wrinkle-free and stain-resistant properties. The ForeverNew line of
clothing can be machine-washed and dried many times and still look like new.
The benefit of this unique fabric technology is most apparent in vibrant colors
such as red, blue, green, black and khaki, which typically fade or bleed after
machine washing. The ForeverNew line can be found in department stores
nationwide.
