      Guitar Center, Inc. (Nasdaq NMS: GTRC), will release second quarter 2007 
      earnings results on August 7, 2007 after the close of the day’s 
      trading. The Company will host a conference call and audio webcast, both 
      open to the general public, on August 7th at 
      2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time).
