Grill Concepts Engages New Auditor 


LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Grill Concepts, Inc.
(NASDAQ:GRILE) today announced that its audit committee has engaged Moss Adams
LLP as the company's new independent accountant, replacing
PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The company also said it has advised Nasdaq that its Form 10-Q for the June 27,
2004 interim period has been filed with the SEC.  The Company has requested the
removal of the "e" at the end of its stock symbol and resumption of trading
under the symbol GRIL.
