GoRemote Expands Endpoint Security to Enterprises Through
Agreement With OPSWAT
GoRemote Broadband Solutions Deliver Superior Protection for Enterprise
Networks Via Broad Integration With Endpoint Security Vendors
MILPITAS, Calif., May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GoRemote Internet
Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:GRIC), a leading provider of secure managed
broadband network solutions, today announced that it will expand its remote
access endpoint security solutions through an agreement with OPSWAT, Inc., a
leading provider of endpoint security competency tools.
The integration of the anti-virus and firewall modules of OPSWAT's Endpoint
Security SDK with the GoRemote Mobile Office solution will allow GoRemote to
operate seamlessly with more than 40 IPSec VPN, anti-virus and personal
firewall solutions from leading security vendors. GoRemote will leverage
OPSWAT's simplified SDKs to provide policy-based network access to corporate
resources wherever customers choose to work, and with virtually any leading
security solution they choose to implement.
"As the number of access methods increase, so does the need for security," said
Tom Thimot, president and CEO of GoRemote. "GoRemote provides secure managed
broadband network solutions on a global basis to enterprises that implement a
wide array of data security solutions. The integration of OPSWAT is a natural
fit and will enable us to strengthen our leadership position by providing a
greater number of integrated IPSec VPN, anti-virus and firewall options to our
customers and prospects."
"Secure broadband network management is increasingly important in today's
corporate environment," said Benny Czarny, OPSWAT's founder and CEO. "The
combination of OPSWAT security technologies and GoRemote solutions now gives IT
administrators better control over the security of remote machines accessing
the network."
The award-winning GoRemote Mobile Office(TM) solution enables mobile employees
in large and small companies to be productive no matter where business
opportunities take them. GoRemote Mobile Office is a complete, integrated
mobile solution that cost-effectively aggregates access and security to help
corporate road warriors maintain a high-level of productivity no matter where
