MINNEAPOLIS, April 26  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gander Mountain Company  today
announced the closing of its initial public offering of 6,583,750 shares of its
common stock at a price of $16.00 per share, including 858,750 shares sold upon
exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option. All of the shares were
sold by Gander Mountain.

Banc of America Securities LLC and William Blair & Company, L.L.C. acted as
joint book-running managers of the offering and Piper Jaffray & Co. acted as
co-manager of the offering.  Gander Mountain will use the net proceeds of the
offering to repay outstanding indebtedness.
