Fujifilm Holdings (MM) (NASDAQ:FUJI)
Historical Stock Chart
From Jun 2019 to Jun 2024
FUJIFILM Corporation and X-Rite Incorporated have come together to bring
the power of Taskero Universe – a suite of
performance analysis tools – from the
pre-press area and into the pressroom. By combining the power of X-Rite’s
IntelliTrax – the industry's fastest,
automated color measurement system for press-side color control –
with Taskero Universe’s enterprise
capabilities, FUJIFILM and X-Rite will deliver a much needed solution
for the printing market that enables users to monitor hardware
performance from pre-press through to the pressroom, while getting
real-time color measurement feedback and allowing adjustments to be made
on press.
“X-Rite devices have a reputation for
precision and ease of use, and many printers in the industry have
approached Fujifilm to make this newest development a reality,”
said Don Schroeder, FUJIFILM’s director of
solutions development. “We’ve
worked closely with X-Rite in developing Taskero Universe from the start
and in collecting information that is of value for our customers; it’s
natural that we work with X-Rite again as we expand Taskero Universe
from the prepress arena into the pressroom.”
The integration of Taskero Universe with X-Rite’s
IntelliTrax automated color measurement system is currently underway and
is expected to be available to customers in beta by late summer. Once
the technology integration is complete, the ultra-fast IntelliTrax
system will automatically be able to scan the color bar of a typical
press sheet in seconds and immediately send the data to the Taskero
Universe web site for verification and analysis.
“We are very pleased to have yet again joined
forces with FUJIFILM as technology development partners to provide what
will be seen as the new industry benchmark in press control and color
measurement integration,” comments Laura
Pursley, X-Rite’s senior product manager for
Pressroom Solutions.
Taskero Universe will be demonstrated live at drupa 2008 at the FUJIFILM
booth (Hall 8B, Stand A25), or visit the X-Rite booth (Hall 5, Stand
