John Ekers, Fargo Electronics Director of Product
Marketing for Software, will address attendees at the National
Association of Campus Card Users (NACCU) 13th Annual Conference on
Friday, March 31 at 2:45 p.m. at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and
Marina. Fargo (NASDAQ:FRGO) is a global leader in secure technologies
for card identity systems.
As part of the conference's new security track, Ekers will address
the cost implications and potential risks of having counterfeit cards
on campus including unauthorized dorm access, unpaid privileges in
food service, bookstores or campus events, and violations of student
or staff privacy. To protect the integrity of a campus card program,
according to Ekers, the ID itself must be secure as well as the
printing system and data collection process. He will also offer
technology solutions to combat the vulnerabilities in the distribution
of campus IDs.
NACCU is a nonprofit educational association that works to provide
learning and networking opportunities for campus ID card and card
industry professionals.
