Independence Air Announces 'Independence Day' Fare Sale
Non-Stop Fares Between Washington and Selected Markets As Low As $29, $59, and
$89 One-Way For Travel on July 3rd and 4th 


DULLES, Va., June 23  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Low-fare airline Independence
Air (NASDAQ:FLYI) is excited to roll out a special fare sale that will make it
fun and less expensive to travel for the Independence Day holiday period.

Examples of lowest one-way fares for travel on July 3rd and 4th to/from
Washington Dulles International Airport purchased at least three days in
advance are as follows: $29 to Charlotte, Syracuse, Burlington, VT, Detroit,
Columbia, SC, Greensboro, NC, Charleston, WV or Rochester, NY, $59 to Atlanta
or Savannah or $89 to San Jose.

Many flights connecting over Washington Dulles to/from Independence Air
destinations are also on sale during that same period.  Travel from Rochester,
NY to West Palm Beach is available for as low as $79, while flights from
Charlotte to Las Vegas start at just $109.

Seats are available at FLYi.com, 1-800-FLY-FLYi and through travel agencies. 
Fares are limited and may not be available on all flights. Travel must be
purchased before midnight July 1st.  Fare sale details and restrictions are
seen below.

Independence Air fare sale fare rules: Sale fares require a 3-day advance
purchase, are one-way, limited, and may not be available on all flights. Heavy
demand for these sale fares could cause certain flights to be sold out prior to
the end of the promotion. Travel must be booked by midnight EDT 7/01/05 and is
valid for travel only on 7/03/05 and 7/04/05. Sale fares are non-refundable but
reservations may be changed prior to departure for a $35 fee (only $25 if
change is made at FLYi.com) plus any applicable difference in fare.
Reservations may also be transferred for a fee of $35 by calling 1-800-FLY-
FLYi. Sale fares do not include segment fees of up to $6.40, the September 11th
Security Fee of up to $5.00 and Passenger Facility Charges of up to $9.00.
Bookings made through 1-800-FLY-FLYi are $5 higher per passenger. Fares are
subject to change without notice.
