First Foundation Bank Appoints New Branch Manager and Regional Leader of Commercial Banking Team

Edward Lee joins as new branch manager and Syeda Hashmi leads commercial banking team in Los Angeles County

First Foundation Inc. (NASDAQ: FFWM), a financial services company with two wholly-owned operating subsidiaries, First Foundation Advisors and First Foundation Bank, announced today the appointment of Edward Lee as vice president, branch manager of the Westwood location and Syeda Hashmi as senior vice president, regional commercial banking manager of the Los Angeles region.

In his new role as a vice president, branch manager, Edward Lee will be working with the First Foundation team in the Westwood office to serve existing clients while continuing to actively support new client growth and promoting the suite of financial solutions First Foundation Bank offers. He brings with him over ten years of experience in the banking industry and most recently worked at First Republic Bank in Los Angeles.

As part of its expansion in Los Angeles, First Foundation Bank created the role of a regional commercial banking manager. Hashmi brings over 20 years of banking experience and was appointed to this new role after three years serving as the director of loan production at First Foundation Bank. Her responsibilities now include leading the efforts to expand the reach of commercial banking in Los Angeles.
