First Federal Bancorp Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend ZANESVILLE, Ohio, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- First Federal Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ:FFBZ) today announced the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per common share, a 9% increase over the amount paid for the same period last year. The dividend is payable on October 5, 2004 to shareholders of record on September 27, 2004. J. William Plummer, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Our results for the first nine months of fiscal 2004 included solid growth in assets and deposits as well as continuation of sound credit quality measures. During this same period we increased non-interest income compared to a year ago. These achievements, combined with gradual improvement in the economy, are expected to contribute to improved future performance."
