eResearchTechnology Issued a United States Patent For Methods and
Systems for Processing Electrocardiograms
Patent Includes More than 50 Claims Associated With eRT's Digital ECG
Processing Environment and EXPeRT(R) System and Methods

United States Patent No. 6,708,057 (the '057 Patent) for various methods and
systems for processing electrocardio grams. The methods and systems have
particular utility in the collection and interpretation of electrocardiograms
developed during clinical trials.
The '057 Patent includes more than 50 claims directed to various features of
eRT's EXPeRT(R) workflow enabled data handling technology, the first solution
in production that was designed explicitly to meet emerging international
