Ambassadors Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:EPAX) (“Company”),
a leading provider of educational travel experiences, announced today
that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.115 per
share, which will be paid on June 1, 2007, to all common stockholders of
record on May 17, 2007. The Board of Directors continually reviews the
Company’s dividend policy to ensure compliance
with capital requirements, regulatory limitations, financial position
and other conditions, which may affect the Company’s
desire or ability to pay dividends in the future.
The Company also announced today that Dale F. Frey’s
term as a Class I Director of the Company expired. Mr. Frey did not
stand for re-election at the Company’s 2007
Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Frey’s
resignation did not relate to any disagreement with the Company.
Jeff Thomas, president and chief executive officer of the Company,
stated, “Dale Frey has been a strong
contributor to our Board of Directors. We have appreciated his insight
and guidance over the last several years. We wish him continued success
in his new endeavors.”
