A group of investors who hold Endo International PLC's unsecured notes continues to try to persuade the company to stay out of bankruptcy, saying a chapter 11 filing isn't warranted in light of the company's latest earnings report.
The bondholder group, advised by law firm White & Case LLP, argued the company beat its own earnings guidance for the second quarter ended in June.
The unsecured note holders' announcement comes a day after Endo disclosed that a bankruptcy filing is imminent and that it is in discussions with senior lenders about plan to file chapter 11.
Ireland-domiciled drug manufacturer Endo, missed interest payments on some of its bonds starting in June.
