In the news release, Michigan Edison Schools Post Strong Academic Gains on
MEAP, issued earlier today by Edison Schools over PR Newswire, we are advised
by the company that the release contained some erroneous information.

The first paragraph, second sentence should read "... the average total gain in
the percentage of students meeting and/or exceeding standards is 12 points,"
rather than "10 points."

The second paragraph, last sentence should read "Overall, Edison's gains were
six times greater than local and state gains," rather than "five times."

The fifth paragraph, first sentence should read "Edison's Michigan partnership
reporting MEAP scores include Detroit's YMCA Service Learning Academy," rather
than "... Detroit's YMCA Service Learning Academy and Detroit Edison Public
School Academy," as originally issued inadvertently.
