Engineered Support Systems Names Mitch Rambler as New Support Services Group President

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 10  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Engineered Support Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:EASI) announced today that Mitchell B. Rambler has joined the company as Group President, Support Services Group.  As Group President, Rambler oversees the combined operations of the group's four service-focused operating units -- ESSIbuy.com, Radian, Spacelink, and TAMSCO.

Rambler has more than 30 years' experience in defense sector services businesses, serving in executive positions with Cyntergy, Universal Systems & Technology, ManTech, NSI Technology, and CSC.  Prior to joining Engineered Support Systems, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Military Operations, for BAE Systems (formerly DigitalNet, before that firm was acquired by BAE in 2003).  Before entering the private sector, he served in the U.S. intelligence community.
