ST. LOUIS, June 28  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Engineered Support Systems, Inc.
(NASDAQ:EASI) has received a $7.2 million order from the U.S. Army Tank-
automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, Michigan, for system
technical support and logistics services for the Knight Precision Targeting
System.  Engineered Support's wholly-owned subsidiary Systems & Electronics
Inc. (SEI) will provide the services in their St. Louis facility.

"To date, SEI has produced more than 140 Knight systems for the Army and Army
National Guard.  Knights are currently deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq as part
of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom," said Gerald A.

this order for technical and logistics support, we're now also able to provide
for successful life cycle management for the Knight system."
