Datalink to Feature Next-Gen Data Center Strategies at NetApp Insight 2016

Will Demo All-Flash Solution, Lead Two Sessions on Building & Managing Next-Gen Platforms

Datalink (Nasdaq: DTLK) announced today that it will be demonstrating an all-flash data center and leading two technical breakout sessions about building and managing next-generation data centers at the NetApp Insight 2016 conference running September 26-29 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. All three initiatives will draw on the company’s extensive experience in designing and deploying optimized data centers that take advantage of new, best-fit platforms based on workload requirements to meet business needs.

Datalink’s participation at the conference will include:

• All-flash data center demo at Booth #1311, utilizing NetApp All Flash FAS storage arrays, FlexPod converged architecture, and Datalink Cloud Complete hybrid cloud solutions to illustrate a multi-platform and on/off premises approach for data center modernization. All platforms can be managed with a single administrative console.
• ‘Hyper-Transformation Required for Next-Generation Platform,’ a discussion by Kent Christensen, Datalink Practice Director, covering both the rationale and the strategy for leveraging multiple, on and off premises application platforms (flash storage, cloud, converged and/or hyperconverged technologies) to achieve intended business value. • ‘Aligning Workloads: Using the Right Platform at the Right Time,’ a presentation by Jason Anderson, Datalink Chief Architect, explaining the need for workload analysis across both technical and service level characteristics to determine the specific mix of converged, hyperconverged, public cloud and storage platforms that will support a given organization’s requirements.
