Docucorp International(R) (Nasdaq:DOCC), a leading
provider of Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions,
announced today that Hammondsdirect, UK's leading volume conveyancing
services provider, has signed a software licensing agreement.
Hammondsdirect will use Docucorp's solution to provide dynamic
correspondence to its clients.
Correspondence is an integral part of Docucorp's CCM solutions,
which streamline enterprise-wide processes and enable companies to
maximize customer touch points, while driving revenue and enhancing
efficiencies. Initially, Hammondsdirect will utilize Docucorp's robust
solution to create, personalize and deliver Home Information Packs
(HIPs). The solution will then be configured to streamline all
communications across the Hammondsdirect enterprise.
"Recent legislation requires that all UK homeowners provide HIPs
to prospective homebuyers beginning June 1, 2007. To take advantage of
this new market opportunity, we sought a technology solution that
would automate the data capture, document production and assembly
process. We aim to be a major player in the HIP market, and it was
important to find an equivalent technology partner," said Achilleas
Hatjiosif, business development director, Hammondsdirect. "Docucorp's
technology will enable us to use electronically stored content and
templates, as well as incorporate dynamic, personalized messaging
based on business rules. In addition, we'll be able to consolidate
form sets from different sources, eliminating the need to manually
assemble the HIPs."
"With the new solution, Hammondsdirect will be able to reduce
delays and processing time with automated workflow and routing. They
will also have the capability to individually brand the HIPs based on
their clients' differing requirements," said Tracey Robinson, vice
president and managing director, Docucorp EMEA. "By further automating
the HIP production using Docucorp, Hammondsdirect will be able to
service a significant portion of the HIP manufacturing requirements in
the UK. Current estimates indicate that the HIP market in the UK will
be worth in the region of GBP 2 billion."
"Since we launched Docucorp's HIP offering, which is available as
either an in-house solution or an outsourced service, we have had
strong interest from all areas of the market. This legislation seems
to have galvanized all players in the UK housing market," said
Robinson.
