Superior Offshore International Comments on Putative Class-Action Lawsuits

HOUSTON, March 5  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Superior Offshore International, Inc. (NASDAQ:DEEP) today announced that several putative class-action lawsuits have been filed against the Company alleging violations of the federal securities laws.  Superior Offshore believes that each of these lawsuits is without merit and the Company will vigorously defend itself.
