Deb Shops, Inc. to Broadcast Review of Year End January 31, 2006 Results Over the Internet 


PHILADELPHIA, March 2  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Deb Shops, Inc. (NASDAQ:DEBS) today reported that comparable store sales increased 5.1% for the month ended February 28, 2006.  Total sales increased 6.5% to $25.3 million from $23.7 million for the month ended February 28, 2005.

Deb Shops, Inc. also announced that the Company will broadcast its conference call to discuss year ended January 31, 2006 results over the Internet.  The broadcast will be held Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, and will be hosted by Barry Susson, Chief Financial Officer.
