Cytokinetics Added to S&P SmallCap 600

Cytokinetics (Nasdaq:CYTK) today announced it has been selected for addition to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Biotechnology Sub-Industry Index. The index, a member of the Dow Jones Total Stock Market Indices family, is designed to measure the performance of small-cap U.S. equity securities.

Omecamtiv mecarbil is the subject of GALACTIC-HF, an international Phase 3 clinical trial in patients with heart failure. Amgen holds an exclusive worldwide license to develop and commercialize omecamtiv mecarbil with a sublicense held by Servier for commercialization in Europe and certain other countries.
